In the magazine, she candidly talks about her days of struggle before she became a superstar.


Here is a excerpt from her interview — I was staying with my best friend Jaya (she is in London now). She used to work with Pepsi, so she had a little money but just so. We had this landlord, who was a Sardar. So, whenever he used to come to the door to collect rent, we used to make all sorts of weird excuses – peep out of the door and tell him “We are not wearing full clothes so come later…” . Or “We just stepped out of the bath, so we cannot open the door”.

Roshan's ignore Kangana Ranaut-Kite Promotion

Roshan family is reportedly ignoring Kangana Ranaut. The much talked movie Kites is set to be released in December, this year and it’s being on the names of Hrithik Roshan and international star Barbara Mori.



But where is Kangana Ranaut? It’s being said that Kites makers have completely forgotten the actress.

Kangana has not been given much footage in the promos of the movie and the actress is not happy with the sequences, says reports.

Kangana really did hard work to be fit in the role and for this she also learnt Salsa dance. But when it came to promos, she has been completely sidelined.

Meanwhile, it’s being said that Barbara would be in India to promote the movie before it sets the screen on fire.

Kangana Ranaut and Amitabh Bachchan will star together in Pritish Nandy’s thriller, 'The Actor,' which will be directed by Pritish’s son Kushan.

Amitabh Bachchan had blogged about the film late last month.

“Kangana loved the role and has given her nod. She will play a smart journalist in the film,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.

“Pritish has interacted with Kangana on a couple of occasions. He and Kushan think that she is a gifted actress,” the source added.

This is the first time Kangana will be working with Bachchan, a measure of her rising stock in Bollywood. Filming will begin early 2010 at locations in Mumbai and Europe.

Kangana is currently working on a Telugu film in Switzerland.

Kangana has won accolades and multiple awards for her role in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion. She will be next seen in this year's big ticket film Kites with co-star Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori, due for release in December.

Amitabh Bachchan, currently in London vacationing with family, wrapped up filming Paa in Cambridge on June 18 for which he had to do the prosthetic face makeover each of the forty days of the shoot. He talked about it quite a lot in his blog.

He is just one film old and with only that one big film Raaz 2 working well whereas Kangana is four years old in the industry with 10 films in her kitty. If he misses the bus now he won’t be able to catch it again and especially in a field like this, where 2 lakh people are coming everyday to Bombay to become a star.
